John Williams

With almost three decades in education, including over 27 years in leadership, John Williams is a highly experienced school and trust leader with a strong track record in school improvement, strategic leadership and system-wide collaboration. He is currently Regional Education Director for the South East Region at GLF Schools, having previously worked across both phases to support school leaders, strengthen outcomes and develop high-quality provision across the Trust.

John has held leadership roles across range of Primary settings including Deputy Headteacher, Head of School, Headteacher and Executive Headteacher, leading schools to significant improvements in performance, culture and reputation, including achieving Outstanding Ofsted judgements. He brings extensive expertise in curriculum and leadership development, safeguarding, governance and organisational change, underpinned by a clear commitment to inclusive education and ensuring every child is known, noticed, and supported to flourish to achieve their full potential.
