GLF Schools

Benefits of being part of GLF

Collaboration

At GLF, collaboration sits at the heart of everything we do. We bring schools together to share expertise, develop new ideas and learn from one another. This enables innovation and spreads best practice.

Education expertise

Our central education team brings together deep expertise across curriculum and pedagogy and inclusion. Schools have access to a range of briefings and resources, and visits and reviews as well as wider professional support.

Professional development and careers

We are committed to developing our people. Colleagues benefit from extensive opportunities and career pathways across a wide family of schools. We also have our Teaching School Hub and we invest in a range of professional communities across GLF.

Partnerships

Through our scale, we are able to establish and sustain high-value partnerships that benefit every school. This includes with national organisations and charities that enhance enrichment opportunities.

IT and estates and operations

Our central IT service underpins safe, reliable and efficient operations, with secure systems. Our Estates team ensures that school environments are safe, compliant and well maintained. Our model frees up schools by delivering other services such as health and safety; marketing and digital support; data; or business support operations.

Financial resilience

As part of a large and financially strong Trust, schools benefit from greater resilience. Shared resources, expertise and facilities sit within a well-established organisation with significant scale and stability.

Opportunities for pupils

Hundreds of children and young people across the Trust take part in the annual Boundless Festival, a series of enrichment opportunities and activities ranging from Debating to Chess, Sport to Art, Drama and Eco Showcase. The Boundless festival enables children and young people to develop confidence, represent their schools, and build connections.
