Red Nose Day at Salfords!
BackSalfords Primary School always supports Comic Relief’s Red Nose Day as it is a charity that supports vulnerable children and families and aims for “a just world free from poverty”. This year was no exception, and the school community was invited to wear red mufti clothes. They raised over £400.00!
Comic Relief are pledging some of the money raised to the Ukraine/Russia war, a humanitarian crisis that has touched us all.
In support of the people of Ukraine, one of our Mums has crocheted a new top to our local post box with this message:
In a world where
You can be anything
Be kind
Kindness is free, spread it around
In support of all the people and animals in Ukraine
