Billie Dunne

Billie attended Banstead Infant and Rosebery School. She brings a strong commitment to inclusive education and youth engagement, shaped by both her own schooling and professional experience.

She has over a decade of experience in education and community engagement. She currently leads education work at the Electoral Commission, where she works closely with government, as well as the education and youth sectors, to strengthen democratic participation across the UK.

Previously, she worked at the National Literacy Trust, supporting programmes focused on improving literacy and career education for children and young people.

A strong advocate for youth voice, Billie is committed to embedding young people’s perspectives into her work. Billie is committed to listening to pupils, parents, and staff, supporting strong leadership, and ensuring every child and young person has access to high-quality opportunities.
