Following a first career as an Army Officer, Gaby has worked in education for the last 30 years, largely specialising in special educational needs. She has worked as Head of SEN for Surrey County Council and in executive leadership for an independent specialist education provider covering the south east region. She now works part-time as a special needs coordinator at a local Guildford school. Gaby has held Trustee positions for a multi-academy trust for the last 9 years, including over 4 years at GLF.
With two grown up children now having flown the nest, Gaby enjoys taking Buddy her springer spaniel into work as a fully trained therapy dog, supporting children with social and emotional needs.
