GLF schools impress at Epsom and Ewell Dance Festival
Back
Congratulations to all from Cuddington Croft, Danetree and The Vale who were involved in the performances in the Epsom and Ewell Dance Festival at the Epsom Playhouse on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings this week.
This year, the theme was 'Nature' and Miss Clark and the Junior Dance Club from The Vale choreographed the routine to the theme of fire.
It was so great to see it all come together, music, costumes, make up and of course the routine! It was brilliant to see how excited and confident they were to perform. Nerves didn't get the better of them, even though it was in front of around 500 people!!
It is great to showcase our work amongst the other Epsom and Ewell Schools and community.
Danetree had 25 children taking part over two nights. The children were from Year 3 and Year 5. The piece was In This Together by Ellie Goulding and was all about looking after our planet, with some children being the animals and others humans.
A group of Year 6 children from Cuddington Croft Primary School thoroughly enjoyed taking part in this year's Epsom and Ewell Dance Festival at Epsom Playhouse. They have been rehearsing for months for the nature themed dance show and they did an excellent job of showing off all their hard work at the evening performances.
It was clear a huge amount of hard work had gone into the dancing – from the choreography and costumes to the routines themselves, the performances were all brilliant – it was wonderful to see such great talent on display.
