Science Fair at Cordwalles Junior School

In honour of British Science Week, Cordwalles Junior School hosted a Science Fair on Tuesday 19^th March.  Children were encouraged to create science projects related to their interests, promoting the theme of science connections and linking to their Wider Curriculum.  They had freedom to choose their topics, but were required to include scientific poster elements.

Whilst the age of the participants were from 7 to 11, the 45 entries showcased the children's grasp of scientific skills, featuring hypothesis, data, conclusions and future predictions, showcasing their core skills within being Scientists.  The children valued the opportunity to share their knowledge with peers, teachers, and even Year 2 students from Pine Ridge and Lorraine.  Parents and carers were invited to celebrate their children's achievements at the Science Fair.
